Meet Lauren, founder and owner of Birthing With LC. Lauren’s interest in pregnancy, childbirth, and lactation sparked after the delivery of her first daughter in 2013. Amazed by the journey she took when becoming a new mother fueled her fire to want to learn more about the process. Having given birth to three beautiful children after dealing with hyperemesis gravidarum, Lauren immediately recognized the need for nurturing and unbiased care for all pregnant and laboring women as well as their families so they feel completely supported and safe throughout the entire birthing journey.

As a birth doula, Lauren is on a mission to help families feel empowered and supported with care, love, and respect as they prepare to experience childbirth. It is a goal of hers to help women learn to trust in their beautiful, strong bodies in order to gain the confidence needed to realize their own physical and emotional potential. By living out this goal, she strives to provide comfort and knowledgeable support in order to remove the fear that is associated with birth today. The moment that a baby is born is joyous, magical, and wondrous, and it is her wish for all families to experience the birth of their babies as fully as possible.

But Lauren is more than just a certified birth doula. She is also a Certified Lactation Support Counselor helping mothers gain the confidence they need regarding breastfeeding. A wife of a personal trainer/football coach and the mother of 3 children. When she is not attending additional trainings to improve her knowledge, you will find her enjoying quality time with her family, in the gym training with her husband, or connecting with other birth workers in order to come together to make a difference one birth at a time.
