Basics to Breastfeeding

Join Lauren, certified birth doula and certified lactation support counselor, for an informative and interactive class on breastfeeding. Taking a breastfeeding class prenatally will help prepare you to achieve a successful breastfeeding experience. During this live virtual 3 hour class, we will discuss:

• The benefits of breastfeeding
• How milk supply works
• How to get breastfeeding off to a good start
• Positions andsigns of a good latch
• Hunger cues, full cues, and how to determine if your baby is getting enough
• How to navigate common breastfeeding challenges
• Pumping, safe storing of breastmilk, and more.

Handouts will be given along with Q&A at the end of our session.
